The Dreadful Fly Back

"You all packed up Chris?" Chris's dad asked. "Just got to find my shoes," he answered. "Never mind I found them." Chris and his dad had a great vacation and now they're packing up to come back home. Chris and his dad took a bus to the airport, got their tickets, and boarded the plane. "Well at least today is sunny," Chris's dad said. "That's for sure," Chris said. "Everyone fasten your seat belts and have a great flight back," the pilot said. Chris's seat started to shake and they took off in no time. All of a sudden Chris heard tap tap. "Don't tell me that was rain," Chris panicked. "Yeah, it was," Chris's dad answered. Out of nowhere a big roar went through the sky. "THUNDER!" A passenger screamed. Flash! A giant strike of lighting lit up the whole sky; then it started to make a huge tapping noise on the roof of the plane. "That's not rain, that's hail," Chris's exclaimed. Right after Chris said that the co-pilot came back to where everyone was sitting. "As you can see we are going through a major storm!" He shouted. "So I'm going to ask you to please put on your seat belts; it will be a bumpy ride." "Dad what's gonna happen?" Chris asked. "I don't know," he answered. "I just know we're going to be alright." Flash! Roar! More lightning and thunder struck. "Why won't it stop?!" Chris asked. Boom! More thunder roared. Flash! More lightning struck. "Everyone keep your seat belts buckled. We are one mile away from the runway," the pilot warned. "Chris, look outside," his dad said. "It's the runway!" Chris exclaimed. Flash! Boom! Chris was still looking out the window when he saw a giant flash of lightning right in his eyes. "AH!" He screamed. "What's the matter?" His dad asked. "Nothing I'm fine," Chris said. All of a sudden Chris was bouncing up and down from the successful landing. "We made it everyone, you're good to get off the plane and have a great rest of the day," the pilot said. Chris and his dad got a ride home and lived happily ever after.
